Welcome to the Troop 109 Website!

Winter Carnival at Hidden Valley

Troop 109 just spent a weekend camping at the Hidden Valley Scout Camp in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH.  Well…”camping” is a loose term as the boys spent the weekend in a heated cabin, but they spent the whole weekend out in the snow!  They spent their day sledding, building forts and culminated the night with a snowball fight among the forts.  Instead of a fort, a few constructed an igloo which two brave souls slept in overnight!  The temperature that night made it down to zero, but it was somewhere around 25-30 degrees warmer in the igloo.  Dinner was lasagna cooked in dutch ovens!
